In lab class at 17 May, I chose to focous on Writing skills because I need to improve these skills for me . I read about paragraph structure (task 3) which tolk about topic sentences . I knew from the strategy of writing the topic sentences do not come at the beginning of the paragraph . The paragraph should support thesis/statement/claim/ belief contained by provide evidence for it in the topic sentences .
Interesting, Turki. It might be a good idea now to go and find a text with several paragraphs and try to identify the topic sentence in each one. You could post a version of the text on your blog, with the topic sentences underlined.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, you may want to change your spelling of FOCUS and TALK (although I'm sure you can find a better alternative than "talk about" for something that you read).
